Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Network Infrastructure Technician to join our globally distributed team. This role manages, maintains, and troubleshoots critical network infrastructure from a remote location, ensuring stability, performance, and security.

You will monitor networks using advanced tools, resolve complex issues, implement changes remotely, and maintain diagrams and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration or remote network infrastructure roles.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and packet analysis.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently from a distance.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are highly desirable.
