Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of international freight forwarding for import/export via air, sea, and land.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, certificates of origin, and invoices.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transit and clearance of goods.
• Track and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Calculate and quote freight rates, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and security requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues or delays during shipping, such as customs holds or transit disruptions.
• Build and maintain relationships with overseas agents, carriers, and clients.

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious international logistics conglomerate, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote International Freight Forwarder Specialist. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage global shipments from your home office. The role requires a deep understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and multimodal transportation (air, sea, road, rail). You will be responsible for coordinating the seamless movement of goods across borders, managing documentation, liaising with carriers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery for our international clientele. Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of global trade compliance and sanctions screening is an advantage.
