Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Process Analyst to remotely dissect and improve production workflows for a globally recognized manufacturing firm. The role requires data analytics, process mapping, and collaboration with regional offices, including occasional visits to Durban.

You will analyze cycle times, throughput, and resource use, map processes, identify bottlenecks and waste, and propose actionable improvements, using tools like Excel, SQL, Visio or Lucidchart.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process analysis, data analysis, or industrial engineering.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and process-mapping tools.

Responsabilités

• Collect and analyze data related to production processes (cycle times, throughput, resource utilization).
• Develop detailed process maps and flowcharts to visualize current workflows.
• Identify performance gaps, bottlenecks and waste within production lines.
• Generate reports and presentations with findings and proposed improvements.
• Collaborate with operations managers and engineers to validate solutions.
• Support development and implementation of new process standards and procedures.
• Apply statistical tools to interpret data and evaluate changes.
• Support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
