Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join as a Production Systems Analyst in a fully remote role for operations across multiple sites in South Africa. You will analyze production processes, map workflows, and apply data analysis and simulation to drive efficiency and better resource use.

Collaboration with site managers is key. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, 3+ years in production systems and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial engineering focusing on production systems analysis and optimization.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab) and process simulation software.
• Strong grasp of manufacturing principles and lean methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Analyze existing production processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Create process maps, flowcharts, and visualization tools to document workflows.
• Apply statistics and data analysis to interpret production data and identify trends.
• Use simulation software to model production systems and assess proposed changes.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements, layout changes, and resource allocation.
