Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Engineering Lead to drive remote operations and continuous improvement across distributed teams. You will set strategic direction for operational excellence and lead transformative projects with a focus on process optimization, supply chain, and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of IE principles, and the ability to motivate a remote team to achieve ambitious goals from a distance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; P.Eng. certification is a strong asset.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing remote teams and distributed engineering functions.
• Expertise in operations research, supply chain optimization, and process simulation.
• Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication for remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of remote industrial engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process innovation.
• Oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of complex industrial engineering projects.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress and identify improvement areas.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies within engineering functions.
• Facilitate cross-department collaboration to align on goals and initiatives.
