Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on supply chain and logistics optimization.
• Proven experience with supply chain modeling software (AnyLogic, Llamasoft) and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of lean principles and their application in supply chain environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for virtual teamwork.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics networks, reduce transit times, and minimize operational costs.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools to design and evaluate new supply chain configurations and strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
• Establish KPIs and monitoring systems to track supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for all supply chain processes.
• Provide training and support to team members on new processes and tools in a remote setting.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management and industrial engineering.
