Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong focus on supply chain optimization. The role is fully remote from Mossel Bay and involves analyzing complex logistics networks, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven improvements across procurement through delivery.

You will work with cross-functional teams and leverage SQL, Python and visualization tools to drive cost savings and performance gains in a global logistics context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering focused on supply chain and logistics.
• Proven track record optimizing complex supply chains and reducing costs.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Design and implement optimized logistics, inventory, and distribution strategies.
• Develop KPIs to monitor performance and report progress.
• Collaborate virtually with procurement, logistics, manufacturing and sales teams.
• Evaluate new technologies or software to improve visibility and efficiency.
