Placements24 seeks a remote Industrial Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing systems from a home office. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, analyze data, and implement scalable solutions across global operations.

The role emphasizes independence, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely. A Bachelor's in IE/ME with 6+ years of experience plus experience in production flow optimization is preferred; Master’s is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in industrial engineering with process improvement focus.
• Proven Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze manufacturing operations, identify inefficiencies, and design process optimization solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies for production flow, material handling, and facility layout.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain SOPs, flowcharts, and work instructions.
• Perform time and motion studies to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams to implement process changes.
• Develop business cases including cost–benefit analyses for improvements.
• Stay current with new technologies and industrial engineering practices.
• Manage multiple remote projects from conception to implementation.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance on best practices.
• Analyze production data to measure solution effectiveness.
