Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer to join a globally distributed team supporting operations from Rustenburg. The role focuses on improving production efficiency, streamlining workflows, and implementing advanced operational strategies across business units.

You will analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop actionable plans while collaborating with teams across time zones in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in industrial engineering with focus on process optimization.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python and R for data analysis.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and project management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze remote operational data to identify efficiency gains and cost reductions.
• Design and document optimized workflows for manufacturing and logistics.
• Use simulation to predict impact of proposed changes on remote operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
• Develop reports and present recommendations to stakeholders.
