Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer to lead digital transformation across operations. The role focuses on leveraging technology to enhance production processes, data analytics capabilities, and smart factory implementations on a fully remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial engineering, strong MES/IoT experience, and a solid grasp of Industry 4.0. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team to drive innovation and operational readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years in industrial engineering with focus on digital transformation and automation.
Experience with MES, IoT platforms and data analytics software.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital factory principles.
Excellent remote collaboration and communication in distributed teams.
Experience in project management and implementing complex technological solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyze and redesign industrial processes for digital integration and data-driven decisions.
Implement and manage digital manufacturing tools and platforms (MES, IoT).
Develop data collection, analysis, and visualization strategies for operational insights.
Collaborate remotely with global teams, IT specialists, and production staff to deploy new technologies.
Evaluate and recommend new digital technologies and methodologies for adoption.
Ensure successful integration of digital solutions into existing production workflows.
