Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer to lead process automation initiatives from anywhere. You will identify automation opportunities, design automated systems, and oversee implementation to boost efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance safety.

The role requires strong remote collaboration and project management skills. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 6+ years in automation, PLC/SCADA expertise, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years in industrial engineering with focus on process automation and control systems.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing automated industrial systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, SCADA systems, and relevant automation software.
Excellent remote project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication for effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation in existing industrial processes.
Design and specify automated systems, including robotics, PLC controls, and material handling solutions.
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for automation implementation projects.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of automated equipment and systems.
Collaborate remotely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and project success.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
