You will navigate complex legal challenges in the SA context, leveraging strong analytical skills and experience in corporate and contract law to safeguard the company’s legal interests and drive

Qualifications

• Qualified as an Advocate or Attorney with 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Expertise in corporate law, contract law, IP, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a remote, diverse portfolio.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools and remote-work best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership deals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across operations.
• Manage and oversee potential disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Proactively identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's assets and reputation.
