Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with ≥5 years regulatory experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in South African regulatory frameworks and compliance management.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in drafting legal opinions, policy documents, and compliance reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with remote collaboration ability.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and interpret evolving national and international regulations relevant to the company’s industry.
• Develop and implement robust compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise business units on regulatory implications of new products, services, and market strategies.
• Manage regulatory filings, submissions, and interactions with governmental agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and propose corrective actions.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations, and assist in dispute resolution processes.
