Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Program Development Manager to spearhead the design and conceptualization of new humanitarian and development programs. You will conduct needs assessments, research best practices, and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to develop impactful, sustainable models from a home office.

The role requires a Masters in a related field, 7+ years in program design and grant writing, and strong skills in LFA, RBM, and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Development or related field.
• 7+ years in program design, development, and proposal writing in the international non-profit sector.
• Expertise in logical framework analysis (LFA) and results-based management.
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification of needs and opportunities for new program development aligned with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
• Conduct thorough research on development trends, best practices, and innovative approaches in relevant sectors.
• Design comprehensive program frameworks, including logical frameworks, theories of change, and M&E plans.
• Develop compelling program proposals for donor submissions to institutions and foundations.
• Collaborate remotely with internal teams, field staff, and external partners to gather input and ensure relevance and feasibility.
• Assess potential impact and sustainability of proposed programs.
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights on emerging issues and opportunities.
• Ensure all program designs adhere to ethical standards and policies.
• Stay abreast of evolving international development and humanitarian aid landscapes.
• Facilitate virtual workshops to foster innovation in program design.
