Placements24 is seeking an innovative Program Development Officer for a fully remote role focused on conceiving, designing and securing funding for new global health programs. The role involves proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning across international teams and donors.

You will lead needs assessments, design budgets and M&E plans, and ensure ethical, evidence-based program designs, contributing to sustainable health initiatives from any remote location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program design, development and management within international non-profit or humanitarian sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design new program initiatives aligned with mission and health needs.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to inform program development.
• Lead development of high-quality grant proposals and funding applications from foundations, governments, and international orgs.
• Collaborate with country teams and technical experts to ensure contextually appropriate designs.
• Develop program budgets, logical frameworks, and monitoring & evaluation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners and stakeholders in global health.
• Stay informed about trends, best practices, and emerging issues in global health.
• Prepare reports and presentations on program development activities and progress.
• Facilitate meetings related to program design and funding acquisition.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
