Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive HR Recruiter for its fully remote South Africa team. You will own the end-to-end recruitment process, craft sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience across diverse roles.

You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and leverage digital tools to engage candidates nationwide. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in full-cycle recruitment, strong ATS proficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Proven experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software/tools.
• Excellent sourcing and candidate engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of South African labor laws related to recruitment.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions remotely and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding job requirements to extending offers of employment.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates via multiple channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs, provide market insights, and guide the process.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain an up-to-date candidate database and track recruitment progress using the ATS.
• Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the process.
• Prepare offer letters and negotiate employment terms with successful candidates.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
• Stay updated on recruitment best practices and labor law compliance.
