Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote HR Operations Manager to lead our global HR operations from a fully remote setting. You will oversee HRIS, payroll, benefits, and compliance while guiding a distributed team to drive efficiency and exceptional employee experience.

In this executive role, you will develop scalable HR processes, ensure data integrity, manage vendor relationships, and partner with IT and business leaders to align HR operations with strategic objectives across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in HRM, MBA, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR operations experience.
• Experience managing HR in fully remote or distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and international regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Develop and implement efficient HR processes aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor a remote HR team to high performance.
• Ensure data accuracy in HRIS and generate HR analytics reports.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding programs.
• Oversee vendor relationships and SLAs in HR operations.
• Coordinate with HR, IT, and other departments for seamless operations.
