Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote HR Specialist with a focus on Compliance to support operations across South Africa. You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, ensuring alignment with South African labor laws and international standards where applicable.

You will lead audits, advise managers, and drive regulatory guidance while working in a fully remote setup that offers flexibility and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR, with a significant focus on HR compliance.
• Deep understanding of South African labor laws and regulations.
• Experience with developing and implementing compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance across all HR functions.
• Investigate and address compliance-related issues and concerns promptly.
