Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote HR Specialist focused on Compliance to ensure adherence to South African labor laws and regulations. You will develop, implement, and monitor HR policies to guarantee legal compliance and mitigate risks, serving employees and stakeholders remotely.

This role supports the organization’s ethical operations from a fully remote setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR with a strong specialization in compliance and labor law, and in-depth knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, or related field.
5+ years of HR experience with a focus on compliance and labor law.
Strong knowledge of South African labor legislation and employment equity regulations.
Experience developing and implementing HR policies and compliance programs.
Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Monitor changes in labor laws and advise management accordingly.
Conduct audits of HR processes and documentation to identify compliance gaps.
Maintain HR compliance records and reporting.
Develop and deliver training on compliance topics to employees and management.
Serve as the primary contact for compliance inquiries and investigations.
