Placements24 is seeking a diligent Remote HR Compliance Specialist to join its fully remote HR team. You will ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies, conduct audits, and stay updated on legislative changes from a remote location supporting a distributed workforce.

The role requires reviewing HR practices, developing compliance training, and promoting ethical HR practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of HR compliance and employment law experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA).
• Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Remote HR Compliance Specialist to join their fully remote HR team. This role is dedicated to ensuring the company adheres to all relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will be responsible for reviewing HR practices, developing compliance training, conducting audits, and staying updated on legislative changes. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented compliance expert who can effectively manage risk and promote ethical HR practices from a remote location, supporting a distributed workforce across Limpopo and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and documentation to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience focused on HR compliance and employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, etc.).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, essential for remote work.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills, comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
