Placements24 seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support a renewable energy client in a fully remote role across South Africa. You will align HR initiatives with business goals, manage employee lifecycle, and drive engagement with leaders and the HR team.

Based in or willing to operate in Soweto, Gauteng, you will handle talent management, performance, remediation, and change management while ensuring compliance with SA labor law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience as an HR Business Partner or similar.
• Experience working effectively in remote or hybrid environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Strong business acumen aligning HR with business objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS and standard office productivity software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate objectives into HR plans.
• Provide guidance on talent management, performance, development, and succession planning.
• Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Advise on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain key talent.
• Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant South African labor laws and HR policies.
• Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders.
• Support change management initiatives and assist employees through organizational transitions.
• Act as a liaison between employees and senior management, fostering effective communication.
