Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HR advisory or Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and employee relations.
• Experience handling complex employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• HRIS proficiency and virtual collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting a remote workforce is desirable.
• CIPM certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR guidance to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances and disputes.
• Support performance management processes and assist managers with employee development plans.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies effectively to the workforce.
• Conduct HR investigations as required, ensuring fairness and thoroughness.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management on HR-related matters.
• Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive remote work culture.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and legislation.
