Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Operations Manager to oversee hospitality operations from a home-based office, anchored in Randburg, Gauteng. The role drives efficiency, quality standards, and performance across a portfolio of properties, while leading remote teams and shaping operational strategy.

You will manage budgeting and P&L, analyze data for improvements, and implement new technologies to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in hospitality operations management with senior leadership.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and operations.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and P&L control.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making.
• Proficient with operational software and remote collaboration tools.
• Effective communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to boost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Lead a dispersed team of hospitality professionals remotely and coach performance.
• Oversee budgeting, P&L management and financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and policies.
