Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Head of Operations - E-commerce to lead all facets of online retail from a fully remote position. You will optimize order fulfillment, warehousing, shipping, returns, and customer service across the value chain, while driving efficiency and profitability.

You will mentor a remote team, partner with Marketing, Sales and Tech, and implement KPIs to scale growth, improve delivery times and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Proven experience in Head of Operations or senior ops role in e-commerce.
• Experience scaling online fulfillment and logistics.
• Knowledge of WMS and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize all e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment and returns.
• Develop strategies to enhance customer service quality and responsiveness.
• Lead a remote team of operations specialists with a focus on efficiency.
• Drive cost reductions and faster delivery times through continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and technology teams for seamless operations.
• Analyze KPIs on operations and customer satisfaction; report to senior management.
