Job summary

Lever, Inc. via a partner company in South Africa is seeking a proactive People Operations Coordinator. You will support onboarding, HR operations, and employee experience across a fully distributed organization, driving smooth processes and engaging joiners.

You will manage data, documentation, and AI-enabled tools, collaborating with teams across locations and time zones while growing into broader People and Talent Operations responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People Operations, HR operations, onboarding, or coordination role.
• Experience with onboarding, HR, recruiting, or broader People teams.
• Interest in applying AI to improve efficiency in work.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve onboarding experiences, ensuring processes are clear, consistent, efficient, and up to date.
• Coordinate activities supporting new joiners and help create an engaging onboarding journey.
• Review, update, and maintain internal People resources and onboarding documentation (e.g., Notion pages).
• Handle operational tasks across onboarding, Talent, and HR, including system updates, data filtering, and report preparation.
• Maintain accurate People data, documentation, and records across systems.
• Help optimize AI and digital tools use to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve workflows, and enhance employee experience.
• Collaborate with People, HR, recruitment, and onboarding stakeholders to ensure processes run effectively.
