Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Warehouse Logistics Coordinator for a leading international logistics firm. This fully remote role lets you manage inbound/outbound shipments, carrier relationships, and compliance from anywhere in South Africa.

You will track shipments, prepare documentation, analyze freight costs, and support warehousing operations with data in a logistics management system. Strong communication, multitasking, and independence are essential in this virtual role.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or freight forwarding.
Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and international trade regulations.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and track shipments domestically and internationally.
Communicate with carriers, warehouse staff, and stakeholders.
Prepare shipping docs including customs declarations and bills of lading.
Monitor progress and address delays or issues proactively.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
Maintain records in the logistics management system.
Support warehouse teams with planning and problem-solving.
Respond to inquiries from customers regarding shipment status.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in remote logistics coordination.
Assist with freight auditing and cost analysis.
