Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator for a fully remote role, supporting global shipments from your home office. You will coordinate scheduling across air, sea, road, and rail, track in real-time, and manage carrier relationships while ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics coordination, strong communication, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and execution of shipments via air, sea, road, or rail.
• Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues or delays during transit.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customs requirements.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers to optimize costs.
• Maintain records of shipment details, costs, and delivery times in the logistics management system.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in developing and implementing logistics process improvements.
