Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of hands-on geotechnical engineering and site characterization.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Plaxis, or similar.
• Experience in remote project coordination and virtual team collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex geological data.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee geotechnical investigations, including soil borings and in-situ testing.
• Analyze soil and rock mechanics data to determine engineering properties and behavior.
• Design foundations (shallow and deep), retaining walls, and earth structures based on site conditions.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical investigation reports and provide recommendations for construction.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, structural engineers, and construction teams to address geotechnical challenges.
• Perform slope stability analysis and recommend mitigation strategies for potential hazards.
