Placements24 seeks a specialized Remote Geotechnical Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will plan, interpret, and report on geotechnical investigations for infrastructure, buildings, and renewables from a remote location.

The role requires a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering with 7+ years’ experience, strong SA standards knowledge, and excellent remote communication for design teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related earth science field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in geotechnical investigation planning and execution.
• Proven ability to interpret complex subsurface data and assess geological risks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design geotechnical site investigations including boreholes, CPTs, and geophysical surveys.
• Interpret borehole logs, lab results and in-situ data to characterize subsurface conditions.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical investigation reports with soil profiles and properties.
• Provide remote technical support to project managers and design engineers.
• Ensure investigations meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Use advanced software for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
