Placements24 is seeking a specialized Remote Civil Engineer with a Geotechnical focus to join our technical team from a remote location. You will conduct advanced soil and rock mechanics analysis, foundation design, and slope stability assessments for diverse infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous reporting, and clear communication with project teams and clients via digital channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical specialization.
• Minimum 4 years of geotechnical analysis and design experience.
• Proficiency in geotechnical modeling and analysis software.
• Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics, and foundation engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed geotechnical analyses including foundation design, settlement calculations, and slope stability assessments.
• Interpret subsurface investigation data (borehole logs, CPTs, and lab tests).
• Develop geotechnical recommendations and reports for diverse civil projects.
• Utilize geotechnical software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio) for modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, structural engineers, and construction teams.
• Ensure analyses and recommendations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
