Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Fundraising Manager for a fully remote role focused on education and socio-economic development. The ideal candidate will lead fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and grant management to sustain and grow vital programs.

Strong communication and proven fundraising success are required for impact across communities in South Africa. The role involves developing campaigns, cultivating major gifts, and coordinating with campaigns and grant-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in fundraising and development with a demonstrable track record of success.
• Proven expertise in major gift solicitation, grant writing, and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve annual revenue targets.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Manage the grant application process from research to reporting and relationship management.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to maximize contributions.
• Develop fundraising materials such as proposals, case statements, and impact reports.
• Maintain donor records and manage the donor database for effective communication.
• Collaborate with communications to support integrated marketing and outreach.
