Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Fundraising Manager for a prominent South African nonprofit. This fully remote role focuses on developing and executing strategies to secure resources supporting the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Non-profit Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive non-profit fundraising experience with a proven track record.
• Proven grant-writing ability to secure funding from diverse sources.
• Strong remote communication and donor-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies including annual appeals, major gifts, and grants.
• Cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations and sponsors remotely.
• Research funding opportunities and prepare compelling proposals and reports.
• Organize and manage virtual fundraising events and campaigns.
• Analyze data to track progress and inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing to create fundraising materials and online content.
