Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Fundraising Coordinator to lead donor engagement and campaigns for a charity-focused organization. This fully remote role enables you to work from anywhere in South Africa while driving resources to advance our mission.

You will develop fundraising strategies, manage donor databases, craft compelling appeals, and report progress to senior management. Excellent written and verbal communication, meticulous organization, and CRM proficiency are essential for success

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related non-profit role.
• Demonstrated success in achieving fundraising targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive appeals.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in donor management software (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with online fundraising platforms and social media engagement is a plus.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events and campaigns, both online and offline where applicable.
• Manage donor databases and ensure accurate record-keeping and timely acknowledgements.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
• Create engaging content for fundraising appeals across various platforms, including social media, email, and newsletters.
• Monitor fundraising progress, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance donor engagement and brand visibility.
• Stay abreast of current fundraising trends and best practices in the non-profit sector.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all fundraising activities.
