Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Freight Dispatcher to manage global logistics from a home-based setup in South Africa. You will coordinate movements across air, sea, and land, optimize routes, and maintain carrier relationships to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery.

You will liaise with carriers, brokers, and clients, monitor shipments in real time, resolve delays, and ensure compliance with international regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or dispatch management (international operations preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency with freight management software (TMS, WMS) and global tracking platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a remote setting.
