Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning software (SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan).
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments.
• Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion.
• Prepare monthly performance reports, analyzing variances against budget and prior periods, and providing insightful commentary.
• Conduct deep-dive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Provide financial decision support to business leaders across sales, marketing, operations, and product development.
• Enhance financial reporting capabilities and drive improvements in data accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and monitor KPIs relevant to business objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for the executive team and board of directors.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the FP&A team.
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial outlook.
