Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in the FMCG sector. This fully remote role focuses on identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding revenue across territories.

The ideal candidate will have a proven BD/sales background in FMCG, excellent remote communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting targets. A degree in Business Administration or Marketing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales with FMCG exposure.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet targets remotely.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research new market opportunities and strategic partnerships within the FMCG industry.
• Develop and implement market-entry strategies to penetrate new markets and grow market share.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor research and feasibility studies for new ventures.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors and corporate clients via virtual channels.
• Negotiate, finalize agreements and partnerships with favorable terms for the company.
• Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations and financial models to support new initiatives.
