Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead financial operations for the East London division. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while partnering with senior management to drive profitability in a fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate is a CA(SA) with at least six years in financial management, including two in management. You will guide the finance team, ensure IFRS compliance, and provide strategic financial insights

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in IFRS, financial reporting and corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A and reporting.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with strategic goals.
• Prepare and present P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial guidance and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
