Placements24 is partnering with a leading financial institution to recruit a Senior Financial Crime Analyst for a fully remote role. You will safeguard clients against money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing by leveraging strong AML/CTF knowledge and investigative techniques across a globally distributed team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial crime, expertise in transaction monitoring and SAR preparation, and familiarity with FICA and related regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminology, Law, or a related field.
• CAMS or CFCS certifications are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial crime investigation, AML, fraud prevention, or compliance within Banking & Finance.

Aufgaben

• Conduct in-depth investigations into suspicious activities and financial crime patterns.
• Analyze transaction data and customer profiles to identify AML/fraud risks.
• Prepare SARs and other regulatory filings.
• Develop enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers.
• Stay updated on financial crime typologies and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to address risks.
• Assist in development of transaction monitoring rules.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts on detection and investigation.
• Contribute to anti-financial crime strategy and risk assessments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of investigations.
