Placements24 seeks a Remote Compliance Officer to fortify its legal and compliance team. You will develop and monitor programs ensuring adherence to SA financial regulations from any location.

Responsibilities include policy development, risk assessments, audits, investigations, and training. The role requires strong analytical skills, independent work, and excellent communication. Remote work offers flexibility and growth within a reputable firm.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Master’s degree or professional qualification (CCEP, CRCM) is advantageous.
• Minimum 6 years in compliance, legal, or risk management, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SA financial regulations (FAIS, FICA, Companies Act).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
• Monitor adherence to financial services laws, AML and CFT requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify non‑compliance.
• Investigate breaches, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.
• Develop and deliver compliance training for staff.
• Liaise with regulators and external auditors as needed.
• Manage compliance documentation and records.
• Advise on compliance implications of new products and initiatives.
