Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst for a fully remote role. You will build financial models for forecasting, analyze variances to budgets, and prepare management reports.

You’ll support strategic initiatives, assess opportunities, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in financial analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience with BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of financial analysis, planning, or related experience.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with accounting software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for management.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support initiatives and investments.
• Assist evaluating new business opportunities and potential acquisitions.
• Monitor key metrics and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes.
