Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Field Service Engineer to provide expert technical support and maintenance services to clients nationwide from a remote setup.

You will diagnose complex equipment issues remotely, guide on-site personnel via phone and video, document procedures, and collaborate with product teams to improve design and performance, with flexible hours and a remote work stipend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Significant Field Service/Technical Support experience, especially Installation & Maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic principles and experience with remote support tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with clients remotely.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in documenting technical procedures and troubleshooting steps clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.
• Guide and instruct on-site technicians or customers through installation, maintenance, and repair via phone, video and remote access.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practices.
• Analyze system performance data to identify potential problems and recommend preventative measures.
• Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on equipment design and field performance issues.
• Manage and maintain a remote technical support environment, including diagnostic software and communication platforms.
