Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a team focused on remote monitoring and diagnostics, with a blend of on-site work and remote problem-solving. The role emphasizes ensuring performance and longevity of complex machinery while leveraging hybrid work arrangements to optimize installation and maintenance activities.

You will perform remote diagnostics, conduct on-site installation and maintenance, and develop preventive maintenance schedules from remote data.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role within installation & maintenance.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, remote monitoring software, and data analysis.
Excellent mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and balance remote tasks with required on-site travel.
Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment failures and performance issues.
Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of complex systems as required.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules based on remote monitoring data.
Provide technical training and support to clients and junior field technicians.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend system improvements.
Maintain comprehensive service reports and update the client database accurately.
