Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Family Support Specialist in Benoni to guide families in need through assessments, plans, and resource connections within Gauteng. You will work directly with families to identify challenges and promote resilience.

You will collaborate with counselors, social services, and community programs, delivering parenting guidance and confidential case management while supporting flexible office and remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in family support, counseling, or case management.
• Strong understanding of family systems theory and child development.
• Excellent active listening, empathy, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs and strengths.
