Ideal candidates hold a master's or PhD in a relevant engineering field, with 7+ years of experience in Li-ion or flow batteries, power electronics, and EMS/BMS knowledge. Strong modeling, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in energy storage related field.
• Strong background in energy storage design/analysis.
• Experience with grid-scale projects and microgrids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect energy storage systems including battery selection and control strategies.
• Model and simulate systems to optimize performance and lifespan.
• Analyze data and troubleshoot system performance.
• Develop specifications, datasheets, and integration plans for ESS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across projects.
• Stay updated on battery tech, power electronics, EMS, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE/IEC/UL standards.
• Provide technical support from concept to commissioning.
• Evaluate new technologies for ESS applications.
• Contribute to proposals and technical docs for opportunities.
