Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will own the complete lifecycle of embedded hardware—from concept to board layout, prototyping, and testing—working with software and product teams to deliver IoT solutions.

The role is remote, requires 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, and a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering. You will design schematics, PCB layouts, and validate hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of embedded hardware design experience.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools and schematic capture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems and interfaces.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or KiCad.
• Select components based on performance and cost.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans including environmental tests.
• Collaborate with software engineers on firmware development.
