Placements24 is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join a fully remote development team. You will design, develop, and test embedded hardware and software, shaping architectures for next-generation products.

The role emphasizes real-time systems, power efficiency, and robust testing in a distributed environment. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in embedded C/C++, ARM Cortex-M, and RTOS, with strong hardware interaction and debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in embedded systems design and development.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and low-level hardware interaction.
• Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and RTOS.
• Experience with debugging tools, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fully remote, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Architect and implement robust real-time embedded systems with focus on performance and power efficiency.
• Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for embedded software components.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and debug interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure coding standards and security principles.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in embedded systems in a remote setting.
