The role is fully remote, coordinating with teams worldwide. Requires a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in electrical system design, including at least 5 years in architecture, plus strong modeling, leadership, and international standards expertise. Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical system design, with ≥5 years in an architectural role.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, power electronics, grid integration and energy storage.
• Proficiency with modeling/simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and PSCAD.
• Proven ability to lead remote engineering teams and collaborate across distributed environments.
• Knowledge of international energy standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define the overall electrical system architecture for large-scale projects.
• Create system-level design specifications, block diagrams, and interface control documents.
• Analyze requirements, performance metrics and constraints to propose optimal electrical solutions.
• Evaluate key components and technologies for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to ensure integration.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to IP and roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues during development and deployment.
