Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote E-commerce Performance Analyst to join the team and deliver insights into online business performance. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data on website traffic, sales, and marketing effectiveness to drive growth from anywhere.

You will build dashboards, identify drivers of performance, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize spend and user experience for a measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst, Performance Analyst, or Data Analyst in online retail.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and interpretation of results.
• Excellent understanding of e-commerce metrics, KPIs, and marketing analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from e-commerce platforms and marketing tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics (conversion rate, AOV, CLV, ROAS).
• Identify drivers of e-commerce performance including customer behavior patterns and traffic sources.
• Provide actionable insights to optimize website performance, marketing spend, and UX.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align data insights with business goals.
• Stay up-to-date with latest analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.
