Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Analyst to join the data analytics team, working remotely. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data on website performance, sales trends, customer behavior, and marketing effectiveness to shape e-commerce strategy and optimize spend.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in e-commerce metrics, and the ability to translate insights into actionable business growth recommendations for global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis within an e-commerce or digital marketing context.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze website traffic, user behavior, conversion rates, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key e-commerce KPIs.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns to measure ROI and optimize spend.
• Identify customer segmentation opportunities and analyze customer lifetime value.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and answer critical strategic questions.
