- Design and recommend drilling fluid formulations based on well objectives and geological conditions.
- Monitor drilling fluid performance, analyze samples, and adjust as needed.
- Provide technical support to rig site personnel regarding fluid properties and operations.
- Manage inventory and procurement of drilling fluid chemicals and additives.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement strategies to optimize drilling fluid expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare regular reports on drilling fluid performance and operational status.
- Troubleshoot downhole fluid-related problems (lost circulation, stuck pipe).
- Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in drilling fluid systems.
